The Buyer acknowledges that animal behavior is inherently unpredictable and influenced by environment, handling, and post-sale treatment. Pursuant to Illinois local liability standards, the Seller (Dog Trainer) provides no guarantee regarding the animal's future behavior or specialized training outcomes once ownership is transferred. The Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold the Seller harmless from any claims, including dog bite liability or third-party injury claims, arising after the date of sale.
The parties agree that this transaction is a private sale and that the Seller has made no fraudulent misrepresentations regarding the animal’s pedigree or training utility. Consistent with the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act, the Buyer acknowledges having been given ample opportunity to conduct a behavioral assessment and physical inspection of the animal or equipment prior to the execution of this Bill of Sale.
If any digital training logs, biometric identifies, or gait-analysis data are transferred as part of this sale, both parties agree to comply with the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (740 ILCS 14/). The Seller warrants that all necessary consents for the collection and transfer of such data have been obtained and that the Buyer shall maintain the privacy of such data as required by Illinois law.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have executed this Bill of Sale as of the date first written above, each acknowledging receipt of a copy of this Agreement.
